
The collaboration between RPNLU and the University of Pretoria aims to enhance faculty and student exchange programmes, joint research projects and conducting seminars and conferences in areas of mutual interest.
Dr Rajendra Prasad National Law University, Prayagraj (RPNLU)'s Faculty of Law has recently signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the University of Pretoria, South Africa. The collaboration between both the universities aims to strengthen research innovation and cross-cultural understanding between both the universities.
The agreement, which was virtually signed by Vice Chancellor of RPNLU, Usha Tandon and Prof Elsabe Schoeman, Dean of Faculty of Law at University of Pretoria, aims to offer quality education to students along with the opportunity to have cross-country collaboration. This relationship represents a common objective of promoting quality legal education and facilitating significant scholarly interchange.
The MoU establishes a framework for a wide range of academic and cultural activities, such as faculty and student exchange programs, collaborative research projects, and the organization of seminars, conferences, and symposia on topics of mutual interest. These events aim to broaden the global viewpoints of learners as well as instructors while stimulating comparative legal studies, as reported by Bar and Bench.
Facilitating faculty and researcher exchange programs is a key component of the cooperation, with the goal of encouraging scholarly collaborations and intellectual interchange. Legal experts from both schools will be able to contribute to ongoing legal concerns, create collaborative documents, and explore new frontiers in international and international law.
RPNLU and the University of Pretoria intend to make substantial contributions to the greater academic and legal communities by increasing their reach through legal education, research, and cultural exchange.
