Maharashtra 11th Admissions 2020: With more than 2.42 lakh seats remaining vacant in first-year junior college (FYJC) after the first round of online admissions, the second merit list will be released on December 5. Maharashtra 11th Admissions 2020 process will resume soon as now the cabinet has given its nod for resumption sans Maratha Quota. Maharashtra School Education Department has announced that the 2nd FYJC Merit List 2020 will be released on the above-mentioned date at 11 am. The department had released the first FYJC Merit List on August 30, 2020.

As per the revised schedule, the Round 2 Vacancy List including the quota seats surrendered by various colleges has been released on the official website 11thadmission.org.in. To check the vacancies, candidates can go to the official website and click on the region where they have applied.

School Education Minister, Varsha Gaikwad while confirminging the dates yesterday on twitter, said, “As directed by the state government, we will now continue admissions in accordance with the Supreme Court’s interim stay order. We will complete the admissions process over the next two weeks.”

The 2nd FYJC Merit list was earlier scheduled to be released by September 10, 2020. However, it was not released after the Supreme Court’s stay on Maratha Quota in jobs. The move impacted lakhs of students in Maharashtra who were waiting for admission to the FYJC or Class 11.
