Students with CUET PG score in Management, Economics, Commerce, Political Science also eligible to apply

Registrations for admissions to two MA programmes โ€“ MA in Media Business Studies, and MA in Strategic Communication โ€“ at the countryโ€™s most prestigious media education institution, the Indian Institute of Mass Communication (IIMC) Deemed to be University, are on, and the last date to register is June 15, 2025.

Registrations can be done through the IIMC website (MA Admission Form) by paying an online registration fee of Rs 1,500 (General) and Rs 1,000 (EWS/OBC/SC/ST/PH).

Indian nationals possessing a Bachelorโ€™s Degree awarded by a recognized university in any discipline with at least 55% marks (or 5.5 CGPA) are eligible to apply for both the MA Programmes. Those who are appearing or have appeared in the final exam of Bachelorโ€™s programme are also eligible to apply.

For the MA in Media Business Studies, candidates with CUET-PG scores in Mass Communication & Journalism (COQP17), General-Management (COQP12), Economics (COQP10), and Commerce (COQP08) are eligible to apply.

Similarly, for the MA in Strategic Communication, candidates with CUET-PG scores in Mass Communication & Journalism (COQP17), and Political Science (HUQP18) are eligible to apply.

There is no age restriction for admissions to these programmes, and admission will be done on the basis of CUET-PG score and interview. Both programmes have 40 seats each plus eight supernumerary seats for working professionals and other categories. Under the supernumerary quota, the Indian Armed Forces personnel and media professionals with at least ten-year experience can apply without a CUET score. Their selection under supernumerary quota will be done on the basis of interview.

The fee of the programmes for two years is Rs 2,82,000. Candidates need to pay Rs 79,000, the first semester fee, at the time of admission.

IIMC Delhi PG Diploma admission is based on CUET-PG score. Shortlisted candidates further have to go through a centralised counselling process. After the provisional admission during counselling, a centralised registration process is carried out by IIMC Delhi for document verification. In this round, the selected students have to present a printout of the NIC form filled during counselling with the ink signature of their parents for final admission.
