IIM Indore has not extended the CAT 2026 registration deadline, meaning the application window still officially closes on September 15, 2026, at 5:00 PM on the official CAT portal. As of now, the IIM CAT Portal has not announced any extension for the CAT 2026 registration deadline.

IIM Indore will close CAT 2026 registration window tomorrow (Sep 15) at 5 PM. Candidates must fill and submit the CAT exam form before the deadline.

Reserved category candidates belonging to SC, ST, NC-OBC, or PwD groups must download the prescribed official certificate formats directly from the CAT website, self-sign them, and convert them into clear PDF files before uploading them to the registration portal

Candidates filling the CAT 2026 application form can add their full time work experience. Some IIMs even provide a weightage for a valid work experience. Candidates need to provide the full time work experience in number of days calculated only up until July 31, 2026. Work experience after July 31, 2026, is considered invalid for admissions via CAT 2026 exam.

Those who are in their final year if UG degree course must fill in their marks up to the latest semester for which results have been declared. Do not guess or estimate your final cumulative percentage during the CAT registration 2026.

CAT registration requires candidates to add marks in percentage for Class 10, 12, as well as graduation. Candidates cannot use the standard CBSE rule (CGPA * 9.5) if their graduation university has its own conversion formula. If there is no formula for conversion suggested by the university, candidates can multiple by CGPA by 100 to add percentage in CAT application form.

No there is no late fee to fill CAT application form. Candidates need to pay regular fee of INR 2700 or INR 1350 based on their category to apply for the CAT 2026 exam.
