DU Opens MBA Admission 2026 Using CAT Scores
Delhi University has opened MBA admission 2026 through CAT scores for Business Economics and Finance programmes. Check eligibility, application process and deadline.
Delhi University has begun admission process for its MBA programmes for 2026–27 academic year, with CAT scores forming basis of shortlisting. DU admission notification has been released by Department of Finance and Business Economics (DFBE), which offers MBA programmes from South Campus.
The university is accepting applications for MBA (Business Economics) and MBA (Finance), both of which are two-year, full-time programmes.
MBA Programmes Offered at Delhi University
DU is offering admission to the following courses:
- MBA in Business Economics
- MBA in Finance
Admissions will be carried out through a joint admission process. While Common Admission Test (CAT) is conducted by Indian Institutes of Management (IIMs), DU has stated that IIMs are not involved in admission or teaching of these courses.
Eligibility Conditions for DU MBA Admission 2026
Applicants must meet the following eligibility requirements:
- A Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 50% marks from Delhi University or an equivalent recognised institution
- Mathematics or Business Mathematics at the Class 12 level is compulsory
- Candidates appearing in their final year of graduation in 2026 are also eligible to apply
- Seat reservation will be implemented as per Delhi University rules
How to Apply for DU MBA 2026
Delhi University has made it clear that entire application process is online. Candidates need to submit their forms through official DU admission portal or DFBE website.
Applications sent through offline mode or hard copy will not be accepted.
DU MBA Application Fee Details
The application fee varies depending on the number of programmes applied for:
General category candidates
- ₹2,000 for two programmes
- ₹1,200 for one programme
- SC/ST/Divyang candidates
- ₹1,000 for two programmes
- ₹700 for one programme
