
With the new partnership, subject matter experts from Medanta will be delivering lectures on relevant topics to the students which will enrich the programme content by incorporating and discussing real life cases as part of the course delivery.
The Indian Institute of Management (IIM), Bodh Gaya has collaborated with Medanta, a hospital chain, with an aim to make the MBA (Hospital & Healthcare Management) programme industry relevant. IIM Bodh Gaya commenced the industry-specific two-year full-time MBA (Hospital & Healthcare Management) programme in 2023 with 85 students enrolled in the first batch through the CAT exam.
With the new partnership, subject matter experts from Medanta will be delivering lectures on relevant topics to the students which will enrich the programme content by incorporating and discussing real life cases as part of the course delivery.
Under this collaboration, Medanta will also be offering summer internships to the students of IIM Bodh Gaya enrolled in the MBA (Hospital & Healthcare Management) programme at its hospital and healthcare facilities across India and abroad.
Additionally, the two institutes will be actively collaborating to organize joint events such as Healthcare Management conclaves, round table discussions, seminars, workshops and conferences aiming to foster knowledge-sharing, innovation and discussions on pertinent issues in the hospital and healthcare management domain.
Professor Vinita Sahay, Director IIM Bodh Gaya and Dr Ravi Shankar Singh Medical Director of Jay Prabha Medanta Super Specialty Hospital, Patna said this collaboration is very strategic and futuristic in nature.
