
IIM Kozhikode's EMBA programme has witnessed the highest-ever enrolment. 619 students have joined the programme. The cohort jointly represents 150+ firms and more than 50 per cent of the batch is constituted of participants in the age group of 30-year to 39-year.
IIM Kozhikode Induction Ceremony: The Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Kozhikode organized an induction ceremony for its 16th batch of Executive Post Graduate Programme (EPGP 16). According to the institute, 619 students have joined the EMBA programme, which is the highest for the institute until now.
The institute has said that this is for the first time the programme has inducted more than 600 students. The enrolment is a jump of 17 per cent from the previous year. The growing national and global reputation of IIM Kozhikodeβs legacy EMBA offering had resulted in 500+ students joining IIMK for three successive years, for batches preceding EPGP-16.
Highest-ever gender diversity
Additionally, the programme has witnessed the highest-ever gender diversity. The EMBA batch has enrolled over 24 per cent of female participants.
The batch accommodates candidates from diverse areas such as IT/software, public sector, Energy, Aerospace, Education, Consulting, Manufacturing, Automotive, Banking and insurance etc. The cohort jointly represents 150+ firms and more than 50 per cent of the batch is constituted of participants in the age group of 30-year to 39-year.
This year, candidates with 6-9 years of experience make up for 32 per cent of the batch. EPGP-16 also stands out for the special IIM Kozhikode partnership with Deloitte and JSW, witnessing participants nominated for the programme by these two leading companies, who made it to the programme after clearing the rigorous multi-stage process.
