Karnataka PGCET 2026: KEA Releases Round 1 Post-Allotment Admission Schedule

KEA has released the schedule for fee payment, confirmation slip download, and college reporting after the release of the Karnataka PGCET 2026 first-round seat allotment results. Candidates allotted seats in postgraduate courses must complete their admission process by October 5, 2026.

The Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) has released the post-seat allotment schedule for candidates allotted seats in the first round of Karnataka PGCET 2026 counselling. The final seat allotment results for MBA, MCA, M.E., M.Tech, and M.Arch programmes were published on the official KEA website on September 25, 2026. Candidates who received an allotment in this round must pay the prescribed fees, download their admission documentation, and report to their assigned institutions within the specified deadlines.

Karnataka PGCET 2026 First Round Post-Allotment Schedule

According to the KEA notification dated September 28, 2026, the fee payment window will open on September 29, 2026. To facilitate the admission process, KEA has instructed all participating colleges and institutes to treat Saturdays, Sundays, and gazetted holidays as regular working days during this counselling period.

What Candidates Allotted a Seat Need to Do Next?

Candidates who have secured a seat in the final first-round allotment must complete the admission process sequentially:

First, candidates must pay the prescribed tuition and admission fees through designated banking channels during operational banking hours between September 29 and October 3, 2026.

Second, after completing the payment, candidates must log in to the official portal to download their Seat Confirmation Slip. The facility to download this slip remains available until October 4, 2026.

Third, candidates must visit their allotted college in person and submit all required original documents along with their confirmation slip. The reporting process must be completed by October 5, 2026, before 6:00 PM.

KEA has noted that academic eligibility criteria prescribed under the respective postgraduate admission rules by the competent authority or university apply for final admission. Additionally, SC, ST, and OBC reservation and eligibility criteria outlined in the notification apply exclusively to Karnataka candidates belonging to these categories.
