Karnataka PGCET 2026 Live Updates: The Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) is conducting PGCET 2026 exam today for MBA and MCA courses. Candidates appearing for the PGCET 2026 exam today must abide by certain rules and regulations, including exam day guidelines, dress code, bell timings, and more. The first shift of Karnataka PGCET 2026 exam, i.e. for MBA, is being conducted from 10:30 AM to 12:30 PM. Karnataka PGCET MCA exam shift will be conducted from 2:30 PM to 5:30 PM.

Karnataka PGCET Exam Day Guidelines

Here are some of the exam day guidelines for Karnataka PGCET 2026 exam:

  • Reporting Time: Candidates appearing for MBA exam must be seated inside the exam hall by 10 AM. Therefore, they must plan to react test centre by 9 AM for security checks and frisking.
  • Dress Code: Find the Karnataka PGCET dress code below for a hassle free exam experience:

    • Do not wear long-sleeved dresses. Wear clothes that do not cover your head, ears, or face.

    • Shoes are not allowed. Wear slippers or low-heeled sandals.

    • Do not wear any jewelry or metal objects. The only exception is the Mangala Sutra.

  • Religious Attire: Candidates wearing religious attire must arrive at the examination centre exactly two hours before the exam begins for a separate screening process.

  • Specially-Abled Candidates: Candidates using hearing aids or cochlear implants must also report two hours early with a valid UDID card and medical certificate.

  • Prohibited Items: You cannot bring mobile phones, digital or analog watches, Bluetooth devices, calculators, written texts, geometry boxes, wallets, belts, caps, or goggles. There is no arrangement at the centre to store these items.

  • Food and Drink: No food items or water bottles, open or packed, are allowed.

    Karnataka PGCET MBA Exam Starts at 10:30 AM

    KEA will conduct Karnataka PGCET MBA exam from 10:30 AM to 12:30 PM. Candidates must report on time to be able to start their test at 10:30 AM. No candidate will be allowed inside the exam hall if the test starts.

    Karnataka PGCET Reporting Time 2026

    KEA will commence the PGCET MBA exam at 10:30 AM. Candidates are required to be seated inside the exam hall by 10 AM. There will be security checks and frisking before the entry to the exam hall, therefore, candidates must aim to enter the test centre premises by 9 AM for the MBA exam. Similarly for MCA exam, candidates must enter the PGCET test centre premises by 1 PM for the exam starting at 2:30 PM.
