The Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) has opened the option entry link on the official Karnataka PGCET 2026 counselling portal. However, the authority has not yet announced the official dates and detailed schedule for the option entry process. Candidates can access the login portal, but the official window to submit choices has not formally begun.

The option entry link is now accessible on the official KEA website (cetonline.karnataka.gov.in). Candidates can navigate to the admission section to view the login interface. To access the portal, candidates must scan the QR code printed on their claim slip or log in using their application number and CET number, followed by mobile OTP verification and live face recognition.

As per official instructions, candidates must pay a non-refundable fee of Rs 750 before entering choices. The link to submit options enables only after payment confirmation. At present, KEA has not released the final schedule allowing candidates to lock and submit preferences.

Karnataka PGCET Counselling Dates 2026
KEA has already released the Karnataka PGCET 2026 claim slip, which candidates can download until September 15, 2026. While the option entry link has been activated on the portal, KEA has not notified the official start date or last date for choice filling. Furthermore, dates for the mock seat allotment, choice modification window, and first-round seat allotment remain pending. KEA has stated that seat allotment will occur strictly after receiving and publishing the final seat matrix from the state government.
Eligible aspirants should complete the preparation steps while awaiting the official timetable:
- Download and print the Karnataka PGCET 2026 claim slip from the official website.
- Keep login credentials, registered mobile numbers, and documents ready for verification and portal authentication.
- Review preferred courses and colleges offline using the draft seat matrix, which lists 35,460+ MBA seats and 17,203 MCA seats across participating institutes.
- Monitor the official KEA website regularly for the formal option entry schedule announcement.
