KJ Somaiya MBA Registration 2026: Last Date to Apply Today

KJ Somaiya Institute of Management will conclude MBA registration process today, January 27. Candidates aspiring for MBA admissions at KJ Somaiya must fill the online application form by today. KJ Somaiya MBA admissions 2026 are based on scores of candidates in NMAT, XAT, CAT, CMAT, and GMAT. Candidates holding a valid score can fill the KJ Somaiya MBA application form. All applicants will be shortlisted if they meet the KJ Somaiya MBA cutoff. More than 690 seats are to be filled at KJ Somaiya collectively across four MBA courses. Candidates will find the KJ Somaiya shortlist on or before February 6 along with the cutoff scores.

Documents Required for KJ Somaiya MBA Admission 2026

Candidates need the following documents during the KJ Somaiya MBA admission process:

  • Entrance exam admit card
  • Entrance exam score card
  • SSC mark sheet and passing certificate
  • HSC / Diploma mark sheet and passing certificate
  • Degree/ Semester wise or Year wise mark sheets
  • Passing Certificate
  • Convocation Certificate
  • CGPA to percentage conversion letter (if any)
  • SOP (only for MBA - HCM and MBA - SM)
  • Achievement / Award or Reward Certificate / Co-Curricular / Extra Curricular Certificates (if any)
  • Work Experience Certificates (if any)
  • Transfer Certificate
  • Leaving / Migration Certificate
  • Birth certificate
  • Domicile certificate (If applicable)
  • VastiPatrak & GLMS Affidavit - Only for Gujarati Linguistic Minority Candidates
  • Any Government photo ID proof
  • 2 photographs

Shortlisted candidates have to book slots to appear for the online and offline selection rounds, including the WAT, personal interview and the Problem Solving Analysis. KJ Somaiya will conduct thw Written Aptitude Test online, whereas, the PI and Problem Solving Analysis rounds will be held offline at centres at different locations. The selection rounds may vary based on the course candidate is applying for. However, Personal Interview and Problem Solving Analysis will be conducted foir all shortlisted candidates, irresctive of their desired course.

Q: Β  Is NMAT registration open?
A:

GMAC commences the NMAT registration on August 1. Candidates can visit the official exam website to fill the NMAT application form. NMAT 2025 registration closes on October 18. Candidates will have to schedule the first take of the NMAT exam until October 25. Since the candidates can appear for the NMAT exam from November 5, the retake registration window will commence from November 6. Candidates who wish to retake the NMAT exam must apply on or after they appear for the first exam attempt.

Q: Β  Do I need to fill XLRI form separately for admission through XAT?
A:

Candidates planning to take admission to XLRI Jamshedpur need not fill a separate form. The XAT application form includes a field in which the candidates have to select XLRI course in which they want to take admission.

However, candidates can select only XLRI Jamshedpur as a preferred college in the XAT application form. There is no option of selecting other XAT accepting colleges in the application form. For XAMI member institutes or other MBA colleges accepting XAT score for admission, you will be required to register separately on their respective official websites when the applications open. Most of the XAMI institutes start MBA application process after XAT result declaration. However, keep a check on the admission schedule of your target college, so that you don’t miss the application deadline.

Q: Β  How many IIMs can I select in CAT application form?
A:

Candidates can select up to 21 IIMs in CAT application form for PI shortlist and admission. There is no cap on selecting campuses. Candidates must however, make an informed choice but first checking CAT cut off, course specialisation and fee of all IIMs and basis that select campuses in the CAT application form. It is best to choose a combination of top IIMs and newer IIMs so that you have wider options for admission.
