MDI Gurgaon FPM 2026 admissions have opened for the Fellow Programme in Management (FPM), a doctoral-level programme recognised as equivalent to a PhD by Association of Indian Universities (AIU). Last date to submit applications is February 28, 2026.

FPM programme at Management Development Institute (MDI), Gurgaon is approved by AICTE and is offered in Residential and Non-Residential tracks. Scholars will receive comprehensive financial assistance, including a monthly stipend of ₹60,000, an annual contingency grant of ₹1.5 lakh, a conference grant of ₹4 lakh and international research funding support of up to ₹2.5 lakh.

MDI Gurgaon FPM 2026: Residential vs Non-Residential Track

Residential FPM track is designed for candidates aiming for academic and research careers at business schools, universities and research institutions. Non-Residential FPM track is targeted at working professionals and senior executives, focusing on applied research and consulting, particularly in sustainability and technology-driven management practices.

Applicants must meet one of the following eligibility conditions:

Five-year integrated Master’s degree with at least 60% marks, after completing Class 12 or

Bachelor’s degree with 60% marks along with professional qualifications such as CA / CMA / CS (minimum 50%).

Age criteria:

Residential FPM: Maximum age limit of 50 years

Non-Residential FPM: Minimum age 35 years with at least 10 years of managerial work experience (preferably at senior level).

MDI Gurgaon FPM 2026: Selection & Test Scores

Candidates must apply using valid scores from one of the following examinations:

  • GRE
  • UGC-JRF
  • GATE

Test scores must be valid as on the application closing date.
