New IIMs PI shortlist declared

The combined PI shortlist of nine new IIMs, namely, IIM Kashipur, IIM Raipur, IIM Ranchi, IIM Rohtak, IIM Tiruchirappalli, IIM Udaipur, IIM Bodh Gaya, IIM Sambalpur, and IIM Amritsar have been declared. 

Candidates can view their results by entering the following details:

• Registration number
• Date of birth (YYYY-MM-DD)
• E-Mail ID (Provided in the CAT Application form)
• Enter submit

The PI shortlist of all the nine new IIMs is being coordinated by IIM Kashipur. It has combined the shortlist of candidates that will be considered for further admission process. The new IIMs will use the PI & WAT scores of selected candidates. Taking into account their respective admission policies, the institutes will consider these scores along with other criteria like CAT score, Profile score etc. Once this is done, the merit lists are created. The candidates will then receive the admission offers.

Criteria for short listing for PA (WA & PI) process according to the website of IIM Udaipur is as follows:

No GD-PI-WAT process will be held at IIM Sirmaur for the preparation of final merit list for admission of PGP 2016-18 batch. Furthermore, the admission policy for IIM Visakhapatnam and IIM Nagpur has still not been announced.

IIM Ranchi has cleared the admission policy by stating that the PI and WAT scores of selected candidates (of six new IIMs) will be straight away collected from IIM Bangalore, IIM Calcutta, IIM Kozhikode, and IIM Lucknow. Only remaining candidates will have to appear for Personal interview and Written Ability Test of six new IIMs. The change in the process notifies that the 3 IIMs (IIM Sambalpur mentored by IIM Indore, IIM Bodh Gaya mentored by IIM Calcutta and IIM Amritsar mentored by IIM Kozhikode will directly be a part of the CAP 2016. There will not be any PI-WAT in 2016 for IIM Sirmaur that is mentored by IIM Lucknow. Also, there is a possibility that IIM Visakhapatnam might directly get PI-WAT scores from its mentor- IIM Bangalore.
