NMAT 2025: GMAC Likely to Hold Additional Exam Phase in January; Notification Soon
Graduate Management Admission Council (GMAC) conducts NMAT exam every year. Aspirants can take the NMAT exam up to three times during the NMAT test window. Since the past few years, candidates who are unable to consume all three NMAT attempts are given an additional opportunity to take the NMAT exam in January. Candidates who miss their chance to fill NMAT application form are also allowed to register and appear for the NMAT exam in the additional phase.
GMAC may or may not conduct the NMAT additional phase exam 2025. If the trends are followed, candidates can expect a notification in the last week of December 2025. The NMAT additional exam window is expected to open for five days. Candidates are allowed to apply for the NMAT additional phase exam, followed by a slot booking process.

Before applying for the NMAT additional phase exam, candidates must go through the selection criteria of their desired colleges. Not all NMAT participating colleges accept scores from the additional phase.
