The Directorate of Technical Education, Telangana, has released TS ICET spot admission details. Check admission schedule, eligibility and documents required for TG ICET spot counselling 2026 below.
DTE, Telangana, has released TG ICET 2026 spot counselling details on the official admission website, tgicet.nic.in. The institutional spot admission process is being conducted to fill leftover vacancies across TG ICET participating institutes for MBA as well as MCA seats. Candidates seeking admission must directly contact the Principal of the respective institutions.
As per the TS ICET counselling notification (spot), the college-wise, course-wise, and category-wise available vacancy details will be published on the official website, tgicet.nic.in, on August 27, 2026. The spot admissions at the institutions will take place from August 31, 2026, to September 3, 2026.
TG ICET 2026 Spot Admission: Eligibility Criteria
According to the TG ICET 2026 eligibility norms, leftover seats will first be offered to TG ICET 2026 qualified candidates. They must possess at least 50 per cent aggregate marks for open categories, or 45 per cent aggregate marks for BC, SC, and ST candidates in their qualifying degree. If vacancies still remain, candidates without a TG ICET 2026 rank who meet the minimum degree aggregate marks will be considered for TS ICET institutional spot counselling. Candidates holding qualifying degrees from universities outside Telangana must obtain an equivalency certificate from a concerned university in Telangana before admission.
Documents Required for TG ICET Spot Counselling 2026
The following documents required for TG ICET spot admission must be presented:
- SSC Marks Memo Original
- Intermediate or its equivalent Marks Memo Original
- Degree or its equivalent Marks Memo Original
- Equivalency Certificate from a Telangana university (for degrees from other states)
- Study Certificates Originals
- TG ICET 2026 Rank Card (if qualified)
- Caste Certificate (if applicable)
- Residence Certificate (if applicable)
Candidates must carry all original certificates for verification; candidates without original certificates will not be permitted for spot admission. After verification, originals will be returned, and candidates must submit one set of photocopies along with the original Transfer Certificate (T.C).
The processing fee payable at the college is INR 1300 for TG ICET 2026 qualified candidates and INR 2100 for non-qualified candidates. Fee reimbursement is not applicable to candidates admitted through institutional spot admissions.
