TG ICET Results 2025: Mahatma Gandhi University has released the TS ICET 2025 results. Candidates can now check the TG ICET results 2025 and download rank card from the official website, icet.tgche.ac.in. Along with the Telangana ICET 2025 results, candidates can download the final answer key PDF from the TGICET website. MGU releases the results for TSICET exam to shortlist candidates for the MBA, MCA admissions in the state.
To check the TG ICET ranks, candidates can use hall ticket number, registration number and date of birth on the ICET result login. Candidates must secure a minimum of 25 per cent marks to qualify for the TGICET counselling. Every year, with the release of TG ICET notification, TGCHE notifies the qualifying cutoff, also known as qualifying score. Candidates appearing for the TG ICET exam must meet the qualifying cutoff to participate in the counselling process. The qualifying cutoff has not changed from the previous session. Candidates have to score a minimum of 25 per cent marks if they belong to unreserved categories. Those who belong to reserved categories are eligible for the counselling, irrespective of their scores. Out of 200 marks, your category candidates have to secure 50 marks to be eligible to participate in the counselling process.
TGCHE releases the admission schedule for ICET exam every year. The admission schedule for TG ICET mentioned the result declaration date. However, the time for release of the ICET result was not notified. In some of the previous year's, the result declaration time was notified by the conducting body a day or two before the TGICET result date. The time for release of the ICET result may or may not be notified in advance.
TG ICET 2025 result was out at 3:30 PM on the scheduled date.
Telangana Council of Higher Education releases the admission schedule with the start of the ICET examination process. Candidates can check the TG ICET result date in the admission schedule. Calculation of TS ICET 2025 Raw Score
TS ICET raw score is calculated using the formulae derived from the marking scheme. TSCHE considers the number of correct answers attempted by the candidate followed by scoring them based on the marking scheme. Candidates can also calculate the probable raw score using the TS ICET answer key, and response sheet. The TS ICET 2025 marking scheme for raw score calculation is as follows:
- Each correct response will fetch a +1 mark
- No negative marking for incorrect response
- No negative marking for unattempted questions
As each correct response fetches +1, the number of right attempts is the TS ICET raw score.

TS ICET 2025 Normalised Marks
TSCHE conducts TS ICET in multiple shifts. Since the difficulty standards of each section might vary. Leading to the asymmetric comparison of scores.
What is TS ICET Normalisation Process?
The normalisation process is used to evaluate all the candidates, across shifts, on a comparative scale. The normalisation of marks may reduce raw scores for all the candidates who appeared in the shift with easy difficulty standards or increase the raw score for all the candidates who appeared in the shift with challenging difficulty standards. An increase or decrease in the raw score to normalise it depends on the average performance of test-takers in each session. TSCHE applies specific formulae to normalise the raw score.

TS ICET Rank Allotment
Based on the normalised scores, TSCHE allots a rank to all the test takers who pass the exam. TS ICET participating institutes releases the TS ICET cutoff ranks soon after the examination process. Candidates with a rank equal to or less than the cutoff rank are eligible for Telangana MBA admission.
TS ICET 2025 Tie-Breaking Criteria
There are cases when the scores of two or more test-takers are identical. TSCHE breaks the tie by providing preference to the candidates in the following chronology.
- Candidate with a higher score in Section A of TS ICET 2025 will have the first prefernece.
- In case the candidates have an equal score in section A, then the candidate with higher marks in section B will get the preference while rank allotment.
- If the tie still persists, TSCHE considers the age of the two candidates. The candidate who is older in age will get the TS ICET rank preference.
NOTE: Candidates belonging to reserved category with a score equal to zero are allotted rank directly based on age. Older candidates are placed higher in the TS ICET rank list.

TG ICET normalisation formula takes into account the average scores and standard deviations of each shift and compares them with the overall values across all sessions. TSICET normalisation formula also considers the average marks of the top 0.1 per cent of candidates from all shifts individually and combined. Using these values, a normalised score is calculated after adjusting the raw marks of each candidate.
TS ICET normalisation process ensures that a candidate who took the exam in a difficult exam shift is not disadvantaged while being evaluated.
TS ICET Rank Card 2025
TSCHE releases the TS ICET results in the form of a scorecard, commonly known as the TS ICET rank card.
