XIM University, Bhubaneswar, will soon release the MBA shortlist for GDPI WAT calls under the MBA admission process 2026. According to the official website, XIMB shortlists are to be released in the first week of February. Candidates will be able to check the XIMB shortlist status inside the login dashboard on xim.edu.in. XIM University shortlists candidates based on their scores from the accepted exams, among XGMT, NMAT, CAT, GMAT and XAT, etc.

Shortlisted candidates have to participate in the next stage of the MBA admission process. The selection rounds include a Writing Ability Test (WAT), Group Discussion (GD) and Personal Interview (PI). With the release of the shortlist, candidates will find the CIMB cutoff scores required to qualify for these rounds. The section-wise as well as overall cutoff marks will be published on the official website. XIM University releases detailed selection criteria and weightage assigned to each parameter along with the shortlist announcement.

The mode of WAT, GD and PI will be notified with the release of the shortlist. If conducted offline, candidates will have to appear for the offline admission process in cities among Bangalore, Bhubaneswar, Chennai, Delhi, Hyderabad, Kolkata and Mumbai.

The final admission decision will be based on multiple factors, including a candidate’s performance in XAT/CAT/GMAT/NMAT/XGMT. The final merit score for MBA admission in XIM University also factors performance in WAT, GD, PI, past academic background and work experience. Candidates selected based on their cumulative score will find the offer status via email in April 2026.

Q: Β  What is the total cost of pursuing MBA from XLRI?

The total course fee of full time MBA at XLRI is INR 28 Lacs according to Shiksha. The fee is to be paid semester wise. The first installment is to be paid at the time of admission. The XLRI course fee includes tuition fees, hostel and mess charges, caution money, library chargers and other miscellaneous services.

Candidates can get admission at the XIM University for the BA LLB (Hons) programme. Course-specific eligibility criteria have to be met by the applicant who wishes to get into the BA LLB. The application submission can be done on the official website, and admission is based on entrance scores, which must be valid. The candidate should have passed Class 12 with at least 45% aggregate. The applications are first shortlisted, after which the 'Admission Committee will verify the uploaded documents. The confirmations of admission are notified to the shortlisted candidates through an email.

XIM University considers XGMT scores to shortlist candidates for further selection rounds. Selection rounds include a GD, WAT and a PI round. Each parameter will have specified weightage in XGMT selection process.

Along with the shortlist, the university will also release a waitlist. Candidates included in the waitlist may be called for further rounds if shortlisted candidates do not qualify or withdraw from the admission process.
