AIIMS Raipur to hire Project Scientist on temporary basis

The walk-in interview for the post of Project Scientist will be conducted by AIIMS Raipur on December 17, 2022.

AIIMS Raipur is all set to conduct a walk-in interview for one post of Project Scientist - C (Medical) on a temporary and contractual basis on December 17, 2022. 

The hiring is for the Department of Biochemistry, and the project duration will initially be for six months which will be extended on half yearly basis with performance-based increments yearly in salary as applicable.

The age limit of the candidate should not be exceeding 40 years.

Eligibility qualifications and desirable skills

The essential qualification required is MBBS/BAMS/BHMS/BDS/Dental with 4 years of teaching/research experience in medical subjects after an MBBS Degree. The desirable qualifications include a post-graduate degree/ diploma in public health/ pathology/ biochemistry/ clinical subjects from a recognized university, additional post-doctoral research/ teaching experience in the relevant subject in recognized institutes, knowledge of Computer Applications /Data Management, and knowledge of Biosafety and research ethics. Candidates with experience/ inclination of working in the rural tribal area will be given preference.

Job responsibilities would include conducting research on health problems of the rural area of the region in communicable and non-communicable diseases, preparing and presenting reports and suggesting appropriate intervention/s, establishing the facilities and facilitating for smooth conduction of research in collaboration with the state health authorities and medical college.

The proposed salary is INR 64,000 per month + INR 5,550/-[20% HRA(basic+25% NPA on basic i.e, 22200+5550=27750), which is a total of INR 69,550 per month.
