The Assam NEET PG 2024 counselling Round 2 registration process started on December 12, 2024. The last date to fill and submit the registration form is December 14, 2024, midnight. The choice filling process will be conducted from December 15 to December 19, 2024.

Candidates who have already registered and participated in Round 1 state counselling need not register again and can directly fill and lock choices for fresh allotment or change of College. The entire round will conclude on December 28, 2024.

How to Register for Assam NEET PG 2024 Counselling Round 2

Candidates have to follow the steps given below to register for Assam NEET PG 2024 counselling:

  • Visit the official website of Assam NEET PG counselling 2024 or directly enter the link - https://formsrec.in/DMEA_PG_MD_MS_ASSAM_2024/
  • Click on ‘New Registration’ tab
  • Read the instructions carefully and click on ‘Next’
  • Fill up the form with the mandatory details
  • Click on the checkboxes and click on Submit

The documents have to be uploaded in PDF format and the file size should not be more than 250 KB. Candidate has to pay the Counselling fee of INR 1,000 at the time of admission if selected.

Q:   How many rounds will be held in Assam NEET PG counselling?
A:

It is expected that a total of four rounds of Assam NEET PG counselling will be held. The actual number of rounds depends on the number of remaining or unoccupied seats. In case of scenario like reduction of the NEET PG 2025 cutoff, DME Assam, or the state counselling authority may extend the procedure for the newly eligible candidates, or for those who have not been allotted seats. 

Q:   How many seats are allotted through Assam NEET PG counselling?
A:

Last year, Assam NEET PG counselling was held for allocation of around 652 MD/MS and Diploma seats. This year, the number of seats may vary. The actual number will be known once DME Assam releass the seat matrix. Assam NEET PG counselling 2025 dates and schedule will be announced tentatively in the last week of September 2025.

Q:   Which body/authority will conduct Assam NEET PG counselling?
A:

Directorate of Medical Education (DME), Guwahati is the conducting body for Assam NEET PG counselling. Candidates had to register online and submit applications to participate in the counselling.
