CSJM University, Kanpur, postpones MBBS exams till further notice

Chhatrapati Shahu Ji Maharaj University, Kanpur, postpones MBBS examinations till further notice.

The official notification of Chhatrapati Shahu Ji Maharaj University (CSJM), Kanpur, notified that the MBBS first professional and second professional examination will be postponed till further notice.

As per the official release, "Challenge evaluation results are not declared up to now and the examination date is proposed on February 1, that is creating confusion among the students and looking at the future of the students, the MBBS examination will be conducted only after announcing challenge evaluation result. The university is postponing the medical examination to a future date and challenge evaluation results will be announced soon and a revised examination schedule will be released on the website."

CSJM University offers UG, PG and diploma courses in various streams of Arts, Commerce, Science, Engineering, Law, Computer Applications, Biotechnology, Medicine, and Management. The university has around 274 affiliated colleges and institutes under it, each located at Kannauj, Lakhimpur, Raebareli, Sitapur, Unnao, Fatehpur, Hardoi, Kanpur-Dehat, Kanpur Nagar, Farrukhabad, Allahabad, Aurraiya, and Etawah.

The university offers financial help to economically weak students by mean-based scholarships. It also offers scholarships to meritorious students. 

The university has 18 departments - Deen Dayal Shodh Sansthan, Department of Fine Arts and Painting, Department of Physical Education, Department of Adult and Continuing Education and Extension, Department of Library and Information Science, Institute of Business Management, Department of Education, Department of Master of Social Work, Institute of Bioscience & Biotechnology, Department of English, Department of Music, Institute of Journalism and Mass Communication, Institute of Life Sciences, University Institute of Engineering Technology, Institute of Hotel Management, Institute of Pharmacy, University Institute of Health Sciences, and University Placement Cell.
