DME Telangana to conduct walk-in interviews for 184 posts on contract basis

The Director of Medical Education (DME) Telangana has issued notification for 184 posts on a contract basis. The official notification reads, "Walk in interview for the eligible candidates for appointment to the posts of Professor and Associate Professor on contract basis on a purely temporary basis for a period of one year in various Govt. Medical Colleges/Government General Hospitals, under control of the Director of Medical Education, Telangana State."

The interview will be held on December 9, the final result will come on December 12, and the last date of joining is December 19, 2022.

"The Faculty of Anatomy, Physiology and Biochemistry Professor and Associate Professor will be paid Rupees Fifty Thousand/month (Rs.50,000 per Month) as a special incentive over and above the consolidated remuneration," added the official notification.

"The engaged faculty will be at the disposal of the institute on whole time basis and his/her service may be utilized in any manner required by the Competent Authority of the Institute without any claims for any additional remuneration. The selected candidate will be posted as per their options depending on the availability of vacancy in that institute in a sliding manner. Preference of same place posting will be considered if couples are applying for posts subject to availability of vacancies," further added the notification.

Eligibility criteria and other details

The academic qualifications needed for the post of Professor is MD/MS/DNB in the concerned subject and as per TEQ Regulation of NMC – 2022, and for the post of Associate Professor, the requirement is MD/MS/DNB in the concerned subject and as per TEQ Regulation of NMC – 2022. The consolidated pay of the faculty for the post of Professor would be INR 1,90,000 per month and for the post of Associate Professor, it would be INR 1,50,000 per month.
