Govt. hospitals getting upgraded, medical colleges being established in each district: Punjab CM
Punjab government is committed to revitalising health, education and employment sectors, said Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann.
The government is committed to revitalising the health, education and employment sectors.
His tweet reads, "Visited Kurali hospital today...Heard the suffering of the patients and gave them courage...We will upgrade the hospital which was a victim of the apathy of the previous governments...The main objective of my government is to provide good and free treatment to the people...We are committed to making Punjab healthy."
He said that the health centre at Kurali will be completely renovated and that people would receive high-quality health care at the centre. The centre will be outfitted with cutting-edge technology, he added.
"The purpose of these surprise inspections is not to find fault, but to ensure people’s safety. The clear goal of such initiatives is to check the arrangements at the micro level for providing quality health care to people," he further added.
Punjab CM also said that the major emphasis is on these sectors so that more people can benefit from them and no stone will be left unturned in support of this noble cause because these sectors are directly related to people’s well-being, as reported by DNP India.
He also alleged that the previous governments never paid enough attention to these sectors and hence the state lagged.
