National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) will release GPAT 2026 rank list soon at natboard.edu.in. The rank list, also termed the merit list, will be released along with the results. Students who appeared for the Graduate Pharmacy Aptitude Test (GPAT) 2026 are waiting to know their results cum qualifying status to get admission to their desired pharmacy colleges across India. Q:   What is the expected cutoff for GPAT?
A: 

The GPAT 2025 cutoff is 216 marks for the UR category. Last year, the GPAT cutoff was 148 (General category); 120 (OBC category); 94 (SC category); 75 (ST category); 122 (EWS category). Candidates who appeared for the GPAT exam are shortlisted based on the cut-off marks published by the participating institutes on their individual website. The cutoff will be released by NBEMS along with the result.

Q:   Is it mandatory to attend the GPAT counselling?
A: 

Yes, GPAT 2026 counselling is a mandatory selection process in which seats will be allocated to the candidates in their desired college and course on the basis of rank secured and first come first serve basis. The participating institutes and colleges will conduct the counselling of GPAT 2026.  

Q:   What to do after the seat allotment process in the GPAT counselling?
A: 

After the seat allotment, candidates are required to contact the allotted institute with the required documents for securing admission within the deadline to deposit fee. 

By the above expected analysis, it can be said that a good rank in GPAT 2026 can be a rank between 1 to 500, if a student is aiming to get top IIT/ NIPER or top tier govement colleges for pharmacy admissions.
