All India Institute of Medical Sciences, New Delhi, has announced INI CET January 2026 round 1 choice filling dates. As per the official schedule, INI CET Round 1 Counselling Choice Filling for the January 2026 session will begin today, January 12. Students will be able to submit their preferences for college/ programme for MD, MS, DM (6 years), MCh (6 years) and MDS seats offered across AIIMS, JIPMER, NIMHANS, PGIMER and SCTIMST online from AIIMS official website. The INI CET 2026 choice filling link will be available at aiimsexams.ac.in.
The INI CET round 1 Choice Filling Last Date is December 13, 2025, at 5:00 PM. Hence, students must not wait for the deadline and submit their preferences at the earliest to avoid missing the last date. Based on the choice filling, INI CET 2026 round 1 counselling result will be announced on December 18, 2025. Successfully allotted candidates will have until December 24, 2025, to complete the online acceptance and physical reporting. Reportedly, 32374 students are eligible to participate in the AIIMS INI CET 2026 counselling process.
Steps for INI CET 2026 Choice Filling and Locking
The following steps will help students to submit their preferences during INI CET Counselling January 2026 session:
- Visit aiimsexams.ac.in
- Login to INI CET 2026 candidate login portal using the required details
- Search for PG Online Seat Allocation" or "Make Choice" on your dashboard.
- Exercise Your Choices (Institute and Subject/Speciality) by clicking 'add choices'.
- Rearrange the choices in order of preference.
- Finalise and Lock Choices before the deadline.

No. He will not be eligible to participate in the counselling. According to the official information brochure for INI CET candidates have to score the minimum cut off to qualify for the exam. The minimum qualifying cut off varies for each category. For an example, candidates of general category have to score the minimum 50th percentile to qualify for the exam while who belong to SC/ST/OBC category, they need to score only 45th percentile. Qualifying candidates are eligible to participate in INI CET counselling for seat allocation process.
Those who will qualify INI CET 2025 November exam can participate in the counselling round. Candidates have to qualify the exam with the minimum cut off to become eligible for INI CET counselling. The minimum qualifying cut percentile for general and SC/ST categories are 50 and 45 respectively. INI CET 2025 counselling comprises a series of process starts with registration. Candidates will have to register on the official website, aiimsexams. Registration is followed by declaration of preferences where candidates provide their choice for college and course. AIIMS allots seats based on choice declared, INI CET score, reservation factor, available seats in particular course or college etc.

No. You can't change preferences of choice for round-2 INI CET counselling. Seats are allotted based on already declared choices in round-1. It must be noted, choices have to be declared and locked in the given deadline otherwise it will get locked automatically.
