JIPMER invites applications for BSc Nursing & Allied Health Sciences

Jawaharlal Institute of Postgraduate Medical Education and Research (JIPMER) has invited applications for BSc Nursing & Allied Health Sciences.

The candidates who are interested in pursuing BSc Nursing & Allied Health Sciences from the premier institute Jawaharlal Institute of Postgraduate Medical Education and Research (JIPMER), Puducherry, must submit online applications latest by March 14 up to 5 pm.

The expected date of publication of the eligible list is on or before March 21.

BSc programmes are a four-year duration program and there are two BSc programs offered at JIPMER, Puducherry - BSc Nursing and BSc Allied Health Sciences Courses.

There are 11 courses offered under BSc Allied Health Sciences Courses including Bachelor of Medical Laboratory Sciences (BMLS), Anaesthesia Technology, Bachelor of Optometry, Cardiac Laboratory Technology, Dialysis Therapy Technology, Medical Laboratory Technology in Blood Banking, Medical Radiology and Imaging Technology, Neurotechnology, Nuclear Medicine Technology, Perfusion Technology, and Radiotherapy Technology.

The eligibility criteria is the applicants must have scored a rank in the NEET 2021 and have passed Class 12 with a minimum of 50% marks in Chemistry, Physics and Biology. The candidates from Scheduled Caste/Tribe candidates need 40% and physically disabled candidates who belong to the general category require 45%.

Seats are reserved for the Scheduled Castes/Tribes, Economically Weaker Sections (EWS), Other Backward Classes, persons with disabilities and natives of Puducherry.

Selected candidates need to pay INR 11,410, including INR 1,200 as tuition fee at the time of admission and hostel facilities are also available on the campus.
