Maximum candidates scored required cutoff for NEET PG 2025: Shiksha Poll
As NEET PG 2025 cutoff scores are low in comparison to last few years, maximum candidates cleared the required cutoff for NEET PG 2025. In a Shikha poll, candidates said they cleared the minimum cutoff for NEET PG 2025. NBE announced NEET PG 2025 result on August 19 along with the cutoff score. The exam was held on August 3, 2025.
Minimum NEET PG 2025 Cutoff: Shiksha Poll Analysis
In the poll survey, candidates were asked to vote for ‘did you score the minimum cutoff for NEET PG 2025’. They were provided three options in the poll. Majority of participants (72%) chose yes option. 24% candidates selected no option, which referred they didn’t get required cutoff in the exam. Only 4% candidates chose ‘will appear next time to improve score’.

NBE has reduced NEET PG 2025 cutoff for each category. The cutoff score has been provided in the table given below:

What After NEET PG 2025 Result?
NBE will release a NEET PG 2025 merit list for 50% All India quota seats. Candidates included in the merit list will be eligible to participate in NEET PG 2025 counselling. A total of 4 rounds of online counselling will be held for seat allotment. Candidates have to register and declare choice of college and course for NEET PG 2025 counselling.

Candidates have to score the minimum cut off to qualify for the exam. The cut off varies for different categories. NEET PG 2025 cut off percentile for the general category students is 50. Those who score less than minimum cut off for that category do not qualify for the exam. A merit list is released based on the cut off marks, comprising name of candidates eligible for the counselling rounds. It must be noted that NEET PG result is valid for that particular academic year only and it can't be used next year or so.
