NEET UG Counselling 2024

Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) has informed students, who are applying for NEET UG counselling 2024, to submit the relevant documents relating to CW concession/entitlement on the Delhi University portal by visiting the Faculty of Medical Sciences website i.e. fmsc.du.ac.in. The portal to submit category certificate for NEET UG counselling 2024 has started today i.e. July 31, 2024. Besides, the last date to submit category certificates is August 4, 2024 (up to 5 PM).ย

MCC has informed all children/ widows of Armed Forces and Person with Disabilities (CW and PwD) candidates to keep their relevant documents ready to testify their eligibility for respective categories. Students are suggested to keep in touch with the MCC website and Delhi University for updates.ย

How to Get Disability Certificate for NEET UG Counselling 2024?

Students belonging to the PwD category have to make an appointment with their nearest disability certification centres for their respective categories and visit accordingly. Students can check the list of disability certification centres for NEET UG counselling 2024 and make a visit to get their documentation completed.ย

Q: ย  Who conducts NEET counselling?
A: 

The NEET counselling is segregated into two categories: central or national, and state counselling. The central counselling for NEET is conducted by the Medical Counselling Committee. The NEET counselling process conducted by MCC is for the admission to the 15 per cent All India Quota seats. On the other hand, State Authorities or the Education Department of various states conduct NEET state counselling for the 85 per cent state quota seats. MCC conducts the NEET counselling for MBBS, BDS and B.Sc. Nursing courses. On the other hand, the State Counselling Authorities conduct the admission process for MBBS, BDS, BAMS, BHMS, and other medical or allied courses.

Candidates need to fulfill the given eligibility criteria to participate in the NEET counselling for MBBS admissions-

  • Qualify NEET by obtaining the cutoff marks.
  • Register on the MCC website.
  • Submit the choices of colleges.

MCC will begin NEET UG counselling 2024 on August 14, 2024. The round 1 counselling registration will be conducted between August 14 to 21, 2024. Further, the authorities will announce the NEET UG 2024 round 1 counselling result 2024 on August 21, 2024.ย
