The National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) will official the exam schedule for the NEET MDS 2026 exam soon. NBE exam calendar was released on December 29, including FMGE June 2026, FET 2026, DNB PDCET 2026 and GPAT 2026 exam dates. The same notification highlighted that NEET MDS 2026 exam date will be announced soon through an official notification.
When Will NEET MDS Exam Date 2026 be Announced?
NBE is expected to announce the exam date along with a complete schedule any time soon. The official brochure, registration dates, application correction dates, admit card date and NEET MDS exam date 2026 will be released at natboard.edu.in. Last year, NEET MDS exam was conducted in March. It is expected that NEET MDS 2026 exam will be conducted in March 2026.
Who is Eligible to Appear in NEET MDS 2026?
To be eligible for the NEET MDS 2026 exam, students need to fulfil these three main conditions:
- Education: You must have a Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) degree that is officially recognised by the Dental Council of India (DCI).
- Internship: You must finish your full 12-month mandatory internship by the expected deadline of June 30, 2026.
- Registration: You must have either a permanent or temporary registration with the DCI or a State Dental Council. This is mandatory.

Yes, it is mandatory to take the NEET MDS demo test for a duration of 10 minutes at one go. In case candidates change the window or are inactive for a certain duration, then the NEET MDS official mock test will be deactivated. They will have to restart the process and start the test again from scratch. Hence, it is advised that students focus on the NEET MDS demo test and attempt it for the total duration of 10 minutes to get the actual experience of test taking.
No, candidates are not allowed to edit each and every detail of the NEET MDS application form. As per last year's trend, applicants could edit every detail except name, date of birth, nationality, mobile number, and email ID. Candidates will also be given a chance to rectify their images or signatures, or any other files uploaded by them. There is no additional charge levied to make corrections in the NEET MDS application.
