NEET PG Counselling 2024: MCC Notifies Resignation of Round 1 and 2 Seats; Know Deadline
NEET PG seat resignation process 2024 is ongoing till December 26, 2024 owing to request of PG candidates who wish to resign their round 1 and 2 seats due to any reason from the NEET PG 2024 counselling process.
The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) has announced NEET PG 2024 seat resignation dates on the official website. MCC has released an official notification highlighting that students who wish to resign from their round 1 and round 2 seats for any reason can do so up to 6 PM on December 26, 2024. However, students are suggested not to wait for the MCC NEET PG seat resignation last date 2024 and leave their seats at the earliest possible to avoid last-minute discrepancies.
NEET PG Counselling 2024: Guidelines for Resignation
The candidates who wish to resign their seats should take note of the following instructions:
- Newly allotted round 2 candidates who joined their seat but now wish to resign can vacate their allotted seat with forfeiture of the security deposit within the stipulated time of resignation.
- Students will have to visit the designated college to resign their seats.
- Candidates who got upgraded in the round 2 process and joined the upgraded seat but now wish to resign from their seat can leave their allotted seat with forfeiture of the security deposit within the stipulated time of resignation.
- Candidates have to ensure that their resignation letter is generated online by the allotted college. Otherwise, the resignation will be treated as ‘Null & Void’.
NEET PG 2024 Counselling Latest News
MCC will begin the NEET PG 2024 round 3 counselling process on December 26, 2024 onwards. Students who have qualified the NEET PG exam and have not participated/ received a seat during previous rounds of the counselling process will be able to apply for admission to PG medical courses on All India Quota seats across India.
