NEET PG counselling 2025 seat allotment results, which were earlier scheduled to be released on November 20, will now be announced on November 22. Meanwhile, students can now complete round 1 choice filling and locking process till tomorrow, i.e. November 21, 2025.

NEET PG Counselling 2025

The Medical Counselling Committee has revised the round 1 counselling schedule for NEET PG 2025 AIQ counselling. As per the revised schedule, the authorities will now announce NEET PG 2025 round 1 seat allotment result in online mode on November 22, 2025. The seat allotment result, which was earlier scheduled to be released on November 20 has been postponed due to the addition and removal of PG medical seats by the National Medical Commission. 

MCC has released an official notification highlighting that 239 new PG seats of Deemed Universities newly approved by NMC have been added in the seat matrix of Round-1. Also, 235 PG DNB (186 Govt. DNB seats and 49 Private DNB seats) seats have been withdrawn from the original seat matrix. 

NEET PG Counselling 2025: Official Website and Details

MCC will announce the NEET PG 2025 seat allotment result online on mcc.nic.in. Students who have appeared for the exam will be able to check their results online in the form of a PDF. The following details will be available in seat allotment result: 

  • Roll Number.
  • NEET PG Rank (All India Rank - AIR).
  • Allotted Institute Name.
  • Allotted Course Name.
  • Candidate Category.
  • Allotment Quota.

How to Check NEET PG 2025 Seat Allotment Result Online? 

Students will have to follow the below steps to download NEET PG seat allotment result 2025 PDF from MCC offiicial website: 

  1. Visit the official MCC website, mcc.nic.in.
  2. Search and click on "PG Medical Counselling" section on the homepage.
  3. Then click on link saying "Round-1 NEET PG 2025 Counselling Result'. 
  4. The result will be available as a PDF file
  5. Search for your name from the PDF to check the qualifying status.

Q:   If I will get seat in round-2 NEET PG counselling, will first round allotted seat get cancelled?
A:

Yes. If you will be allotted seat in round-2 NEET PG counselling, your round-1 allotted seat will be automatically get cancelled. In case you don't get allotted seat in round-2, then round-1 seat will not be cancelled. Candidates have to register online and declare preferences of choice for NEET PG counselling. It must be noted, MCC conducts counselling for allotment of 50% AIQ seats.

Q:   Who will be eligible for NEET PG counselling rounds?
A:

Candidates who qualify NEET PG exam with minimum cutoff marks as decided by NBE will be eligible to participate in the counselling. The qualifying cut off varies as per the category. To participate in NEET PG 2025 counselling, candidates will have to register on the official website, mcc. Nic. In. They also have to fill choice for college and course and lock them in the given deadline. Seat allotment is done based on different factors such as choice declared, availability of seats in particular college and course, NEET PG rank etc.

Q:   I didn't score the minimum cut off for NEET PG. Will I eligible for NEET PG counselling?
A:

No. Candidates need the minimum cut off to qualify for NEET PG. It must be noted only those who qualify the exam with the minimum cut off score will be eligible to participate in the counselling rounds for seat allotment. Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) conducts online counselling for seat allotment. Candidates have to register and declare choice for college and course for seat allotment.
