NEET PG Counselling 2025 Schedule REVISED; Extended Choice Filling Date Sparks Uncertainty Among Students
The NEET PG Round 1 choice filling deadline is extended to November 21 as the counselling schedule is revised again. The seat allotment result for round 1 AIQ PG medical admissions will be announced on November 22, adding to students’ uncertainty.
The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) has extended NEET PG Round 1 choice filling and locking process once again. Originally set to conclude on November 16, the deadline has been extended till November 21, 2025, up to 12 Noon. The NEET PG Round 1 choice filling deadline is extended following the delay in the announcement of the counselling schedule. The extension of choice filling has sparked anger and frustration among NEET PG aspirants who have already completed the needful as per the original timeline.

NEET PG Counselling 2025: Student Outrage on Postponement
The reaction from the medical fraternity regarding the NEET PG 2025 delay is negative. Many students took to social media platforms, sharing their frustration and uncertainty about their future. Students who are also participating in the state counselling rounds have to also manage as per the state counselling schedules.
"This delay shows a lack of planning by the MCC," one student posted on Twitter. "We made arrangements to report to colleges based on the original dates. Now everything is uncertain again."
What Candidates Must Do Now?
The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) has notified that the candidates can revise their Choice Filling and exercise fresh choices for newly added/ withdrawn seats as per the above schedule. Students who are willing to make changes in their preference list can make changes before November 21, 2025.
