Considering the safety of students amid covid-19, NSUL and ABVP have requested the government to postpone INI CET 2021 exam for the July session. As per the revised schedule announced by AIIMS Delhi on May 27, 2021, INI CET 2021 exam will be conducted on June 16, 2021.
"The AIIMS had postponed its INI-CET examination. But now, only 18 days prior, the new date for INI CET Exam 2021 by AIIMS stands at June 16. This has caused a furore within the student community," Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP) said.
National Students' Union of India (NSUI) has written a letter to AIIMS director and requested him to postpone INI CET 2021 exam. In the letter, Neeraj Kundan, President, NSUI said, "Thousands of medical aspirants have approached me and sought my help in taking forward their grievances regarding the INI CET Exam 2021 schedule on June 16, 2021."
Earlier, students expressed disappointment over the revised schedule of INI CET 2021 and contended that appearing in the INI CET 2021 exam in such a short span of time will be difficult. As directed by the government, many of the doctors were involved in 100-day covid duty which hardly gave them time to prepare for the exam. They were also asked that at least one monthβs time will be given to prepare for the exam. Several of them took to social media and requested the government to postpone the exam.
With INI CET 2021 exam scheduled for June 16, 2021, students have effectively only 10-12 days to appear for the exam. As per the schedule, AIIMS will release INI CET admit card on June 9, 2021 on its official website. Those who successfully registered for the exam will be able to download admit card for INI CET 2021. Candidates are advised to check all details on the INI CET admit card and in case of a mistake in any detail, contact the concerned authority immediately. As per the INI CET 2021 pattern, the exam paper will comprise 200 MCQs and candidates will get 3 hours to answer them.
