The Odisha NEET PG 2024 seat resignation deadline has been extended and now will be held between January 27 to 28, 2025. Meanwhile, the provisional verification status will be published tomorrow i.e. January 24, 2025, at dmetodisha.in. 

Odisha NEET PG 2024 Seat Resignation Deadline

Directorate of Medical Education and Training (DMET) Odisha has extended the resignation deadline after round 2 state admissions. The authorities have announced that the seat resignation process will be conducted between January 27 to 28, 2025 (between 11 AM to 3 PM). Earlier, the seat resignation window was scheduled between January 24 to 25, 2025. The seat resignation process is open for state quota seats including management quota seats of hi-tech MC-BBSR & Hi-tech MCRKL. 

Odisha NEET PG Counselling 2024: Instruction for Resignation Procedure

Students have to follow the below instructions for Odisha NEET PG counselling 2024:

1. They have to report in person for resignation to the convenor.
2. Interested and eligible students have to report between 11:00 am to 03:00 pm on all days.
3. Photo-ID Card (Aadhar /PAN/DL/Voter ID card) shall be taken by all students.
4. Students have to report in person at Old Lecture Theatre-1, Ground floor, Near Central Library, VIMSAR, Burla.
5. Students also have to take the NEET PG 2024 Admit Card & rank card along with an allotment letter of a Round 3 AIQ seat and state admission letter. 

Meanwhile, the authorities have announced that the Odisha NEET PG 2024 round 3 counselling verification status will be released on January 24, 2025. Students further will be able to submit their grievances from their registered email ID on January 25, 2025 (til 12 Noon).

Candidates have to deposit INR 2,500 non-refunable fee for seat allotment. Fee can be paid by online mode only.

Q: Β  How many rounds take place in Odisha NEET PG counselling?
A:

It is expected that four to five rounds of counselling will be held for seat allotment to Odisha PG medical admission. The number of rounds of Odisha NEET PG counselling 2025 will depend on the number of vacant seats after each round of counselling. Last year, an additional round of counselling was conducted due to the reduction of the NEET PG 2024 cutoff to five percentile for all categories. 

Q: Β  Do all rounds of Odisha NEET PG counselling take place online?
A:

No. Last year, a total of four rounds of counselling was held, two rounds in online mode, while the last two mop up and stray vacancy rounds were held in physical mode.
