The Directorate of Medical Education and Training (DMET) has released the provisional status of document verification after the lowering of the qualifying cutoff at the official website. Students who have participated in the Odisha NEET PG 2024 counselling process can check the provisional status of document verification to know their eligibility status for appearing in the counseling process. The provisional status of document verification contains several details about the student, including application number, name, NEET PG roll number, NEET PG percentile, NEET PG rank, residency status, incentive marks, category and status of the application. Students are required to check the status of their application before proceeding further.
Students who have been declared qualified under the document verification list will be eligible for the incentive addition process. The state list of verified candidates will be sent to NBEMS for incentive addition and preparation of state-specific-merit list. Going further, the Odisha NEET PG 2024 revised merit list for the special stray vacancy round will be released on March 17, 2025. Further, the authorities will conduct the special stray vacancy round physical counselling on March 18, 2025, for all qualified and eligible candidates.
It is expected that four to five rounds of counselling will be held for seat allotment to Odisha PG medical admission. The number of rounds of Odisha NEET PG counselling 2025 will depend on the number of vacant seats after each round of counselling. Last year, an additional round of counselling was conducted due to the reduction of the NEET PG 2024 cutoff to five percentile for all categories.
