Regular posts of Yoga Science in government colleges approved: MP Cabinet Minister

For the first time, the Madhya Pradesh government has approved regular posts of Yoga Science in government colleges, as confirmed by Dr Mohan Yadav, the Cabinet Minister from MP.
"Orders were issued by the state government for the creation of 336 academic and 200 non-academic which is a total of 536 posts for 8 new model graduate colleges Damoh, Rajgarh, Barwani, Chhatarpur, Guna, Khandwa, Singrauli, and Vidisha in the RUSA project of the Higher Education Department," he said.
"For the first time in the state, regular posts of Yoga Science have been sanctioned in government colleges. Teaching will start in these colleges in the next academic year. New buildings of new schools are ready in 5 districts. As per the recommendation of the Policy Commission, all model colleges are being opened in aspirational districts," he added.
According to the order, 8 posts of principal, 312 posts of assistant professor, and 8 posts each of sports officer and librarian have been approved in total 336 posts. In the regular non-academic post, 8 posts each of Chief Clerk, Accountant, Assistant Grade-1, Assistant Grade 2, 16 of Assistant Grade-3 have been approved.
40 each for laboratory technician and attendant, 8 for book lifter, 32 for peon and 16 each for sweeper and watchman have been approved.
MP to offer certificate courses for inmates in Central Jail
The state is all set to offer skill development courses for prisoners lodged in Central Jail to make them self-dependent.
As per Free Press Journal report, Jiwaji University will offer these courses. Diplomas in various streams and certificate courses will be conducted in the jail premises so that on discharge prisoners could be employable and become entrepreneurs as well.
