Directorate of Medical Education and Research (DMER) Chennai is likely to begin Tamil Nadu NEET 2025 counselling process for admission to MBBS and BDS programmes today, i.e. June 6, 2025. Reportedly, Tamil Nadu Health Minister M Subramanian has announced that application forms for admission to state quota seats in MBBS and BDS programmes will be released today, as reported by Medical Dialogues.
As per media reports, the Health Minister has discussed with private and government medical and dental colleges regarding the early commencement of TN NEET UG 2025 admission process for MBBS and BDS admission. In earlier years, the government waited for the NEET exam to be announced before starting the application checks. Because of this delay, they didn’t have enough time to properly verify the applications, which led to errors in the counselling process.
TN UG Medical Admission 2025: Colleges Asked to Disclose Detailed Fee Structure
CM Subramanian has also instructed private medical and dental colleges to disclose their fee structures, including a bifurcation of tuition, hostel charges, and any additional fees, according to a report by The Hindu.
Tamil Nadu NEET UG Admission 2025 Dates Soon
The authorities may soon release the schedule, including Tamil Nadu NEET counselling dates 2025, at the official website tnmedicalselection.net. Students will be able to check TN NEET counselling 2025 registration dates along with choice filling and seat allotment result dates. However, the authorities are yet to make any official statement at the counselling portal.

The authorities released official dates of Tamil Nadu NEET counselling round 2 events. According to it, the TN NEET counselling round 2 registration ended on September 18, 2025. After this TN NEET round 2 seat allotment result was out on September 24, 2025.
Tamil Nadu NEET 2025 counselling started on the official website. According to the official website, the Tamil Nadu NEET counselling 2025 registration and choice filling can be done till August 16, 2025. Applicants who fulfil the eligibility criteria can apply online by visiting the official website. After the registration authorities will release the seat allotment on August 18, 2025.
