Tripura Govt to Establish Homeopathy Medical College: CM Saha

Tripura Chief Minister Manik Saha has announced that the state will have a homeopathy medical college soon. Further, the state is planning to recruit more homeopathy doctors in order to offer medical services to people in need.
Tripura Chief Minister Manik Saha has announced that the state will soon have a homoeopathy medical College. The announcement was made during the World Homeopathy Day event held at Prajna Bhavan. During the event, CM Saha mentioned that the homeopathy treatment has been facing challenges for a long time, and it is important to overcome such challenges.
He further notified that the plan to set up a Homeopathy Medical College is underway, and investors from outside the state are ready for the investment. He further added that the journey of Homeopathy started in West Bengal and then expanded across the country with time.
During his speech, he stated about the issue in Homeopathy treatment, saying, "In Tripura, there are some issues in Homeopathy treatment. It needs massive publicity and outreach. We have to highlight the success stories. There are many Homeopathy doctors who have gained a good name in the state, but people are not aware of the success stories."
Talking about homeopathy, Saha mentioned that homeopathic medicine cannot give an immediate solution but does help in the long run. He further highlighted that several patients often don't need surgery and get cured with homeopathy over time, as reported by Times Now News.
Saha said that the state now has 173 Homeopathy Medical Officers. The Chief Minister stated that the state government intends to employ more Homeopathy physicians in the Sabroom Subdivision in southern Tripura.
