UP NEET PG Counselling 2024: Round 3 Admission Deadline Extended till Feb 15; Know Guidelines
UPDGME has re-extended the admission last date for UP NEET PG 2024 round 3 counselling process till February 15, 2025, for students provisionally qualified for admission to PG medical courses in Uttar Pradesh.
Uttar Pradesh Director General of Medical Education (UPDGME) has once again extended the admission last date for UP NEET PG counselling process 2024 for round 3 admissions. Students who have been named in the round 3 seat allotment results can now complete the admission process by February 15, 2025. Interested and eligible students have to complete the needful by 5 PM on February 15, 2025. Students who will not be able to complete the admission formalities before the deadline will not be considered for admission purposes.
Previously, the last date to complete admission formalities was December 10, 2025. The authorities extended the admission last date in order to allow students to get admitted in their respectvie allotted colleges. Students must not wait for the last date to complete admission formalities as the authorities are unlikely to further extend the admission last date for round 3 UP NEET PG counselling process 2024.
UP NEET PG Counselling 2024: Important Guidelines for PG Medical Admissions
Students willing to complete the admission formalities shall adhere to the following guidelines:
- The allotted/ reallotted candidates must appear in person for admission.
- The allotted candidate must submit original educational/category/subcategory and other certificates at the time of admission.
- The process will be completed at the nodal centres nominated by the government.
- Admission of candidates allotted/reallocated seats in private sector medical colleges.

The official UP NEET PG counselling is upneet.gov.in. Candidates who qualify NEET PG have to apply under state quota and submit application form. A merit list will be released based on NEET PG rank and other details. Shortlisted candidates in the merit list will be eligible for seat allotment.
Number of seats to be allotted through UP NEET PG counselling 2025 will be released along with the official brochure. Last year around 923 seats were allotted through various rounds of counselling. Candidates have to register on the official website and declare choice of college and course for seat alotment.
