NIOS Admission 2020: Last date to apply tomorrow

Students who will apply for NIOS admission 2020 after January 31, will have to pay late fee charges. 

National Institute of Open Schooling (NIOS) ongoing admission process for class 10 and 12 is going to end on January 31, 2020. Class 8 students who are 14-year-old or above can apply for NIOS 10th admission and students who have passed class 10 can apply for NIOS class 12 admission 2020. To complete the NIOS admission process students have to pay the NIOS admission fee and upload the necessary documents along with the application form. After completing the process, students can track their admission status using the reference number generated during NIOS registration 2020.

NIOS Admission 2020: Late fee details

While the last date to apply for NIOS class 10 and class 12 admission is January 31, 2020, but the students can apply till March 15 with late fee charges. Students can check the last date details and late fee details for NIOS admission 2020 in the table given below:

Interested candidates can apply for NIOS 2020 admission following the steps mentioned below:

Step 1: Visit the official website of NIOS i.e. sdmis.nios.ac.in

Step 2: Click on register

Step 3: Read the instruction and click proceed to continue

Step 4: Now select ‘state’ and ‘identity type’. Also, enter the id number of selected identity type

Step 5: A new webpage will appear. Select the ‘course’ (Secondary for class 10 & Senior Secondary for class 12) here and submit

Step 6: Now the application form will appear

Step 7: Fill in the required details and necessary documents

Step 8: Complete the process by making the payment

NIOS Admission 2020: Eligibility criteria

NIOS Class 10 admission: Students born on or before January 31, 2006, are eligible for NIOS admission 2020. The minimum age limit for NIOS class 10 admission is 14 years as on January 31, 2020.

Students must have cleared class 8 from a recognized board or should have enough knowledge to appear for class 10 examination.

NIOS Class 12 admission: Students born on or before January 31, 2005, are eligible for NIOS admission 2020. The minimum age limit for NIOS class 12 admission is 15 years as on January 31, 2020.

Students must have cleared class 10 from a recognized board or should have enough knowledge to appear for class 12 examination. Students applying directly after passing class 10 will not be allowed to sit for the exams in one go.

NIOS conducts class 10 and class 12 admissions twice a year. NIOS admissions for April 2021 will begin from March 16 to July 31, 2020.
