NIT-C Admissions 2022: The National Institute of Technology Calicut (NIT-C) has commenced the admission application process for PhD programme. Candidates interested in NIT-C Admissions 2022 must note that the last date to submit the application forms is May 3. Applicants can visit the ‘Admissions’ link available on NIT-C official website, https://www.nitc.ac.in.

The engineering institute has invited applications from eligible candidates for admission to PhD programmes (monsoon semester) in various schemes in the departments of architecture and planning, chemical engineering, chemistry, civil engineering, computer science and engineering, electrical engineering, electronics and communication engineering, mathematics, mechanical engineering, physics, biotechnology, materials science and engineering and management studies.

NIT Calicut Placements 2022

Despite the ongoing pandemic situation, the National Institute of Technology, Calicut (NIT-C) received an overwhelming response from the industry’s top recruiters. The first phase of NIT Calicut placements 2022 witnessed as many as 950 students securing job offers. This is 70% higher than the 568 students placed during the same period during 2020- 21. The placement season also recorded a significant surge in the highest salary offered to students. Participation of recruiters in NIT-C placements also increased compared to past years.

Four students from the computer science and engineering department bagged the highest salary offer of INR 67.6 lakh per annum as opposed to the highest CTC of INR 43 lakh last year. All the four job offers came from Traceable AI, a leading application security firm.

The average salary offered to students stood at INR 13 lakh per annum, which is two lakh more than the INR 11 lakh per annum last year.
