MH BSc Nursing CET Eligibility Criteria

See below eligibility criteria for MH BSc Nursing CET 2026:

  • The admission will be based on MH Nursing CET 2026 result.
  • The candidate should be Indian national.
  • NRI are eligible for 15% Institute Quota including NRI Quota seats in the Unaided Private/Minority colleges.
  • Overseas Citizen of India candidates will be eligible for all seats in Government and Private Unaided Institutes including 15% Institutional Quota seats of Private unaided or Minority colleg for academic year 2026-27.
  • Students must have passed HSC or Class 12 or equivalent examination from Maharashtra with English, Physics, Chemistry and Biology (Botany & Zoology).
  • The minimum age limit for admission should be 17 years on December 31 of the year in which admission is sought. As per Indian Nursing Council, for BSc Nursing there is no upper age limit. However, for GNM the upper age limit is 35 years.
  • Students must submit medical fitness certificate during document verification.
  • The candidate must have passed the SSC or equivalent examination from Maharashtra.
  • For BSc Nursing, students must have passed Class 12 with Physics Chemistry and Biology and English individually with at least 45% marks and for SC/ST category students, the minimum percentage should be 40%.

  • Register for CET cell.
  • They should download the brochure from official website and read it thoroughly.
  • While filling out application form for MH BSc nursing CET, keep all documents ready.
  • Fill out application form carefully and try to avoid mistakes.
  • Select a minimum of three different nearby exam centres
  • Upload the required documents
  • Pay the MH BSc Nursing application fee and submit application form.
  • Download the application form for future reference.

A:

The MH BSc Nursing application form fee for the academic year 2026-27 is INR 1000 for General and EWS Category Candidates from Maharashtra State and all candidates from Outside Maharashtra State (OMS). Further, it is INR 800 for Candidates of Reserved Class Categories [SC, ST, VJ/DT- NT (A), NT (B),  NT (C), NT (D), OBC, SBC], and INR 800 for PWD, Orphan and Other Gender candidates. 

Q:   Is MH BSc nursing application form available for free for reserved category candidates?
A:

The MH BSc nursing application form is not free for any reserved category candidates. They will have to pay INR 800/- to appear for the exam. Unlike other entrances in which some female and PwD candidates are exempted from paying fee, MH CET nursing charges all the applicants to pay some amount to complete the registration process.
