There are a total of 93 seats in the PGIMER BSc nursing (Hons.) programme. General category candidates have 47 seats, SC category candidates have 14 seats, ST category candidates have 07 seats, OBC category candidates have 25 seats, and PwBD category candidates have 5 seats in all. It is a 4 year course. Please note that reservation to PwBD candidates is given on horizontal basis and as per Govt. of India guidelines revised from time to time. So, the number of seats mentioned for Persons with Benchmark Disability (PwBD) will be adjusted against the category to which he / she belongs.

To start the admissions process, first register yourself at the AIIMS BSc Nursing admission portal which further involves 2-steps, basic registration and final registration. 2- Download the AIIMS BSc Nursing admit card from the official website. 3- Appear for AIIMS Nursing for the BSc Nursing entrance exam. 4- Check and download the AIIMS BSc Nursing Exam Results. 5- Appear for AIIMS Nursing for BSc Nursing Counselling in the end.

Students whose names appear in the merit list will be invited for counseling and the seat allocation process via online mode. They will have to follow the steps mentioned below: 6- Fee and document submission to confirm admission. 7- Students who made it to the merit list based on the written exam were called for the PI or assessment round. 8- The final merit list has been published on the website. 9- A student's fate is decided based on their performance in both stages. Almost 3 times more students will be invited for the interview than the actual number of available seats. The assessment process will count the following criteria: Past academic record in class 12 or equivalent examination. Past academic record in the Nursing examination. Performance as a Staff Nurse. BSc Nursing Government Colleges Eligibility

As per the BSc nursing eligibility criteria which has been mentioned by the Indian Nursing Council, the applicant must be 17 years of age to apply of the course. There is maximum age limit which is 35 years in most of the state and national level nursing colleges. As per the education qualification, the aspirant must be registered as ANM or GNM.  If not, then he/she should have passed Class 12 from science stream with Biology and English as compulsory subjects with 50 per cent marks for the unreserved category candidates and 45% marks for the reserved categories. The applicant must be an Indian national as well. In some Government colleges, male candidates are not eligible for admission. Only female candidates can apply for admission.

The seat for appearing in a particular centre will be subject to availability on a first-come, first-served basis.
