NMDC Limited in association with Apollo University, Chitoor, is inviting applications for its flagship CSR initiative 'Balika Shiksha Yojana' and the launch of 'Medical Technology Programme' with an aim to offer opportunities to the tribal youth of Chhattisgarh state. The organisation is offering two different initiatives, namely, Balika Shiksha Yojana for tribal girls and Medical Technology Programme for underprivileged Boys and Girls, as per the Government release.

Balika Shiksha Yojana – For Tribal Girls (ST)
NMDC is offering tribal girls from the districts of Bastar, Dantewada, Sukma, Kondagaon, Bijapur, and Narayanpur fully financed nursing education as part of its flagship programme. Interested students can apply on or before June 28, 2025.
Students who qualify may apply in the program to study GNM (3 years) and B.Sc. Nursing (4 years) at recognised universities, including KIMS College of Nursing in Hyderabad, Apollo School of Nursing, and Yashoda School of Nursing.
A total of 90 for GNM and 110 for B.Sc. Nursing seats are available for the sponsored programme. With an expected investment of INR 12–15 lakh per student, the program covers all educational expenditures, including tuition, housing bills, and other academic expenses.
Further, the authorities are also offering a medical technology programme for underprivileged boys and girls. A total of 90 seats are available for aspiring students. Interested students can fill and submit the application form by June 30, 2025.
