RUHS confirms that admission to BSc Nursing, BPT, Paramedical, BRT, and BSc MLT courses for the academic session 2025-2 will be conducted based on RUHS entrance exam scores. However, admission for 2026-27 will be conducted based on NEET UG exam scores. 

Rajasthan BSc Nursing Admission 2025

Rajasthan University of Health Sciences (RUHS) has released a notification confirming admission to BSc Nursing, BPT, Paramedical, BRT, and BSc MLT based on RUHS exam scores. The authorities have notified that owing to multiple requests by students, the admission for the academic session 2025-26 in the aforementioned undergraduate courses run in the constituent and affiliated colleges of Rajasthan University of Health Sciences will be conducted based on RUHS entrance examination scores. 

The authorities have notified that the decision to stay back to accepting RUHS exam scores for admission are lack of time to apply, documents requirement for the candidates for NEET, difference in the NEET and RUHS exam syllabus and less time to prepare for NEET exam. 

Candidates will be admitted based on their scores in the RUHS entrance exams for applicable courses, which Rajasthan Health Sciences University will conduct at its own level, and the selection of students will be based on their merits and preferences through an online counseling process that will be organized at the university level.

Admission Based on NEET Scores from Session 2026

The authorities have further notified that the admission to BSc Nursing, BPT, Paramedical, BRT, and BSc MLT courses from academic session 2026-27 will be conducted based on NEET exam scores, and the selection of candidates will be based on Merit-Cum-Choice basis of NEET UG 2026.  

"It is mandatory for the candidates taking admission in the said undergraduate courses of the university in the upcoming academic session 2026-27 to appear in NEET UG Entrance Exam-2026-27. Without appearing in NEET UG Entrance Exam-2026-27, admission will not be given in the said undergraduate courses of the university." The official notification reads.

Rajasthan University of Health Sciences admissions are primarily entrance-based. The university considers national-level entrance-exam scores for BDS, MDS, MBBS, MPharm, etc. RUHS conducts an admission test for shortlisting candidates for BPharm, BPT, BSc Nursing, and other programmes. The test is conducted for 120 minutes in English language. The papers includes objective-type questions related to the course.
