Declare fee reimbursement of the students of weaker sections and disadvantaged groups for these nine years
Requesting the state government of UP and the education department, the association urged them to declare the expenses made by the government in the primary government schools during the previous nine academic sessions under the RTE Act 2019. It also demanded the government to declare the payment of the balance fee reimbursement of the students of weaker sections and disadvantaged groups for these nine years.
The association further asked the government to declare the per-child expenditure of the government schools for every year as a rule by October. It also asked the department to allow the concerned private schools to scrutinize the records related to the eligibility of the students of weaker sections and disadvantaged groups who are being sent for admission to unaided private schools under the RTE Act.
An official statement released by the association of Private Schools of Uttar Pradesh said, “In view of the administration paying no heed to the problems being faced by millions of private schools of Uttar Pradesh due to various provisions of the Right to Education (RTE) Act 2009, the Association of Private Schools of Uttar Pradesh again knocked on the doors of administration through a press conference held at Press Club, Lucknow, today to find solutions to their problems at the earliest.”
