AFCAT 1 2026 City Intimation Slip Out

AFCAT 1 2026 Exam City Slip Released

Indian Air Force (IAF) has released AFCAT 1 2026 city intimation slip on January 9. The city slip has been send to candidates to their registered email ID and mobile number. Candidates can make their travel arrangements accordingly. AFCAT 1 2026 admit card will be issued separately soon. Candidates can download their admit cards by logging with the required credentials. AFCAT 1 2026 exam will be conducted on January 31. The details related to exam centres are mentioned in the admit card.

The online test carries four sections. Total marks allotted to the exam are 300. The duration of the test is 2 hours. Total 100 questions are asked in the exam. There are also negative markings in the exam.

Q:   Which are the cities where AFCAT exam is conducted?
A:

AFCAT exam cities are prescribed in the notification. Candidates are required to choose five test cities while filling the application form. The details regarding AFCAT exam centres are mentioned on the admit card. 

Q:   What is the dress code for AFCAT exam?
A:
AFCAT is one of the most sought-after defence exam in the country. The exam is conducted to select eligible candidates as gazetted officers in the Flying Branch and Ground Duty (Technical and Non-Technical) branches. As it is the important defence exam in the country, therefore, the examination authority prescribes dress for candidates appearing in the exam. The guidelines related to dress code are given below: Candidates need to wear slippers/sandals with flat heels Closed footwear such as shoes is not allowed in the exam centre Clothes with large buttons are not permitted. Candidates wearing attire for religious purpose will be thoroughly frisked Candidates colour photograph will be taken during verification process. Candidates are required to put the thumb impression on the admit card in advance (at home) before proceeding to the examination centre and to sign on the same in front of the invigilators Candidates will be allowed to leave the exam hall after completion of AFCAT/EKT For rough work, A4 size sheet will be kept at each candidate's desk. Additional sheets will be provided to candidates on demand. Candidates are required to write name and particulars on the rough sheets and drop the same in the drop box/handover to the staff before leaving the exam hall.
Q:   Is there sectional timings in AFCAT exam?
A:

There are no sectional timings in AFCAT exam. The duration of the test is two hours. AFCAT exam carries questions from General Awareness, Verbal Ability in English, Numerical Ability and Reasoning and Military Aptitude Test. The total marks allotted to the test are 300.
