The Bihar Public Service Commission (BPSC) will begin the application process for teacher recruitment on June 15 on the official website; i.e. bpsc.bih.in. The last date to apply for BPSC Teachers Recruitment 2023 is on or before July 12, 2023.

The Bihar government has begun the recruitment process for over 1.70 lakh school teachers in the state's government school. The Bihar Public Service Commission (BPSC) will begin the application process for teacher recruitment on June 15 on the official website; i.e. bpsc.bih.in. The last date to apply for BPSC Teachers Recruitment 2023 is on or before July 12, 2023.
Candidates must note that the Bihar teacher's recruitment 2023 will be done as per the new recruitment rules in which eligible candidates will be appointed as permanent teachers through a centralised exam conducted by the Commission.
As per the latest BPSC notification for the Teachers Recruitment Exam (TRE), the exam is been conducted for the appointment of 1,70,461 school teachers on August 19, 20, 26 and 27. The Commission will announce the result by December 2023. Under the new teacher recruitment drive in Bihar, nearly 80,000 teachers will be appointed in primary schools. However, no teacher will be appointed in schools teaching students from Classes 6 to 8 – the upper primary section. Apart from basic salary, the selected candidates will get government allowance as per New Pension Scheme (NPS).
BPSC Teacher's Recruitment: Eligibility and other details
All those candidates who are permanent residents of Bihar are eligible to apply. For male candidates of the general category and other backward classes (OBC) is INR 750. For Scheduled Castes (SC), Scheduled Tribes (ST), women and Persons with Disabilities (PwD) candidates will have to pay INR 200 as an application fee.
