Bihar Education Minister, Sunil Kumar said that the state would recruit more than 26,000 teachers as part of the Teacher Recruitment Examination (TRE-4)

The recruitment for teaching posts under the Teacher Recruitment Examination (TRE-4) will commence soon. Bihar Education Minister has said that the STET 2025 exam will be conducted by the BSEB from October 12 to October 31.

In a press conference held at Patna, Bihar Education Minister Sunil Kumar said that the state would recruit more than 26,000 teachers as part of the Teacher Recruitment Examination (TRE-4). Kumar said that the vacancies would be forwarded to the Bihar Public Service Commission (BPSC) within four to five days.

Kumar added that any positions left unfilled after this phase will be carried over to TRE-5.

Sunil Kumar also told reporters that the Bihar School Examination Board (BSEB) would conduct the State Teacher Eligibility Test (STET) 2025 from October 12 to October 31.

"Candidates should focus on timely application and exam preparation, as this time the exam process will be completely online and transparent. The Education Department's objective is to provide fair opportunities to deserving candidates," said Sunil Kumar, Education Minister, Bihar.

The minister also announced that the results will be out by November 16. The minister said that candidates can apply for the exam from September 19th to September 27.

On the other hand, candidates are demanding to increase the number of seats to 1.2 lakh. On September 19, hundreds of TRE-4 aspirants staged a protest march from Patna College to the Chief Minister’s residence.

During the press conference, the Education Minister discussed students' demand stated that schools release vacancies based on subject-wise and student numbers. “These 26,000 seats are by no means a small number, he added.
