CSIR NET 2025: The authority has not yet released the CSIR NET 2025 notification for the June session. It has been delayed. The application form and examination date will also be released along with the notification. Candidates can check below the past trends. 

The CSIR NET is a national level exam which is conducted to determine the eligibility of candidates for Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) and for Lectureship (LS)/ Assistant Professor in the universities and colleges of India. It is conducted twice a year (June & December). The NTA CSIR NET 2025 exam paper consists of five main subjects namely Life Sciences, Chemical Sciences, Mathematical Sciences, Physical Sciences, Earth Sciences.

CSIR NET 2025 Exam Pattern

The CSIR NET 2025 June exam pattern is expected to remain the same. Check the current CSIR NET exam structure:

• Mode of Exam: Computer-Based Test (CBT)
• Duration: 3 hours
• Medium: English and Hindi
• Total Marks: 200
• Marking Scheme: Varies slightly by subject; includes negative marking
• Subjects Offered: Life Sciences, Chemical Sciences, Earth, Atmospheric, Ocean and Planetary Sciences, Mathematical Sciences and Physical Sciences

Each subject paper is divided into three parts: A (General Aptitude), B (Subject-related conventional questions), and C (Analytical, application-based questions).
