CSIR NET December 2025 Exam Today
National Testing Agency is conducting CSIR NET 2025 for Life Sciences, Earth, Atmospheric, Ocean and Planetary Sciences, Mathematical Sciences, Chemical Sciences and Physical Science today, December 18. CSIR NET 2025 is being held in two shifts. Candidates allotted in shift 1 must report at centre by 7 AM whereas, for shift 2, they must reach by 1 PM.
Candidates have to carry their CSIR NET admit card along with any one ID card to exam centre for verification. They must note that duration of CSIR NET December 2025 computer-based test will be 180 minutes. They cannot leave CSIR NET centre before the exam ends. They are also advised not to carry any electronic device to exam centre.

CSIR NET Exam Dress Code
NTA has not specified dress code for CSIR NET exam 2025. However, candidates must keep these point in mind when going to exam centre
- They must wear simple and comfortable clothing
- Clothes should allow easy frisking and security checks
- Wear plain tshirt or simple shirt, no heavy prints or logos
- Lightweight trousers or pants
- Simple traditional attire (kurta, salwar-kameez) without heavy work
- Open footwear like slippers or flat sandals
What to Avoid at CSIR NET 2025 Dec Exam Centre
- Clothes with metal parts, zippers, hooks, or large buttons
- Heavy embroidery or large pockets
- Shoes with thick soles or closed shoes
- Belts with metal buckles
- Caps or accessories that obstruct checking

- Candidates must follow exam day guidelines mentioned on CSIR NET admit card
- They must reach before reporting time at CSIR NET exam centre
- They must also adhere to instructions given by invigilator
- When appearing for exam they need to carry a printed copy of CSIR NET 2025 admit card
- Along with hall ticket, they must also carry any one photo ID card

The NTA will release the CSIR NET June session Advance City Intimation Slip on its official website around ten days prior to the exam date. Candidates will be able to download it through their login credentials. Along with the city slip, the authority also releases the CSIR NET exam schedule and shift timings for the June session.
